  This study constitutes the first step toward evaluating the effectiveness of these public health advisories in coastal and Great Lakes States. The major objectives of the survey were: To compile a listing of all advisories issued by the 30 coastal and Great Lakes states from 1984-1987 concerning the consumption of contaminated finfish.
