Description:

The National Geodetic Survey (NGS) will adopt a modified definition of GRS80 for use in the forthcoming modernized National Spatial Reference System (NSRS). In that modified definition, the value for the inverse flattening of the ellipsoid, −1, is given an exact value, rather than 2.
