Description:The NOAA Ship Oregon II departed Pascagoula, MS on 5 September 2000 to initiate the Southeast Area Monitoring and Assessment Program (SEAMAP) fall ichthyoplankton survey and marine mammal survey in the northern Gulf of Mexico. A total of 25 successful sea days were worked over two legs during the cruise: Leg 1, September 5-21 and Leg 2, September 25- October 2.
