Description:Juvenile salmonids were monitored on their seaward migration at three key sites on the Snake-Columbia River system by the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) This was a part of the total monitoring effort in the Water Budget Center's (WBC) smolt monitoring program on Columbia Basin salmonid stocks. In addition to the three key sites, the NMF'S also initiated a sampling effort at Lower Monumental Dam. Funding was provided by the Bonneville Power Administration (BPA).
