Volume II of this three-volume set describes the effects of the San Fernando earthquake on energy and communication systems, water and sewerage systems, transportation systems, and on individuals and organizations-sociological aspects of the disaster. A special subcommittee of the NOAA/EERI Earthquake Investigation Committee was responsible for the preparation of each section.
