There are occasionallytimeswhentheintensityoftheequatorialelectrojetatafixedlongitudeshowsanoscillatoryvariation with a period of approximately 6 days. We present case studies of such events based on the equatorial electrojet measurements from the CHAMP and Swarm satellites.
