Description:Radiationbeltprotonsinthekineticenergyrange24to76MeVarebeingmeasuredbythe RelativisticElectronProtonTelescopeoneachofthetwoVanAllenProbes.Datahavebeenprocessedfor thepurposeofstudyingvariabilityinthetrappedprotonintensityduringOctober2013toAugust2015.Forthelowerenergies( ≲32MeV),equatorialprotonintensitynear L=2showedasteadyincreasethatis consistentwithinwarddiffusionoftrappedsolarprotons,asshownbypositiveradialgradientsinphase spacedensityatfixedvaluesofthefirsttwoadiabaticinvariants.Itispostulatedthattheseprotonsweretrappedwithenhancedefficiencyduringthe7March2012solarprotonevent.Amodelthatincludesradial diffusion,alongwithknowntrappedprotonsourceandlossprocesses,showsthattheobservedaverage
