Description:The impact of high-frequency gravity waves on homogeneous-freezing ice nucleation in cold cirrus clouds is examined using parcel model simulations driven by superpressure balloon measurementsoftemperaturevariabilityexperiencedbyairparcelsinthetropicaltropopauseregion.
