Description:The GOOS Center at AOML operates 1) NOAA's Global Drifter, Expendable Bathythermograph and SEAS Meteorological Programs; 2) migrates long term monitoring projects into operations when appropriate; 3) provides timely, high quality and cost effective oceanographic data and products for NOAA now cast, forecast, detection, attribution and research mission requirements; and, 4) represents NOAA on national and international coordinating bodies (e.g., the U S.
