Description:"The American Samoa federal longline logbook data are summarized by date of haul as shown in Table 1. All longline logbook data submitted by holders of federal limited entry longline permits for fishing activities during 2008 have been processed by staff at the Department of Marine and Wildlife Resources (DMWR) and are included in this preliminary report. The data in the report are from the logs submitted to DMWR as of February 5, 2009. As of this date, the documented delinquency rate for 2008 was 1.3%, with data from 2 out of 148 large longline vessel trips not yet received or entered in the database"--Page [1].
