Description:Many habitat service quantification methods measure the areal extent of impacts from development or restoration. This paper presents the development of two metrics that are useful for delineating habitat area affected by shoreline armoring in Puget Sound, Washington: typical unarmored beach slope and the elevation of highest astronomical tide (HAT).
