Description:Lists of United States hurricanes which have caused 25 or more deaths and more than one hundred million dollars in damages (unadjusted) during this century have been compiled from all data sources available at the National Hurricane Center (NHC). In addition, all major hurricanes which have made landfall in the United States during this century are listed. Some additional statistics on United States hurricanes of this century and tropical cyclones in general are also presented.
