Description:The purpose of this report is to provide managing agencies with a better understanding of contemporary shark nursery habitats. Cooperation between federal and state governments in developing coordinated conservation measures is critical to successful domestic management of coastal shark species because range, migrations and mating and pupping areas overlap some state and even federal jurisdictions (NMFS 1999).
