Description:A shrimp trawl bycatch reduction study was conducted aboard the NOAA Ship OREGON II September 6-30, 1991. The cruise was divided into three legs. On the first leg, divers conducted evaluations of prototype finfish excluder designs. Juvenile red snapper behavior studies were conducted on the second leg and comparative towing evaluations of the shrimp trawl finfish excluder designs were conducted on the third leg.
