Description:"The 2013 Pacific marine mammal stock assessments include revised reports for 52 Pacific marine mammal stocks under NMFS jurisdiction, including 13 'strategic' stocks: Hawaiian monk seal, Southern Resident killer whale, California/Oregon/Washington populations of mesoplodont beaked whales, California/Oregon/Washington Cuvier's beaked whale, California/Oregon/Washington humpback whale, Eastern North Pacific blue whale, California/Oregon/Washington fin whale, Main Hawaiian Islands Insular false killer whale, Hawaii Pelagic false killer whale, Hawaii sperm whale, Central North Pacific blue whale, Hawaii fin whale, and Hawaii sei whale . New abundance estimates are available for 25 stocks in the Pacific Islands region and 13 U.S. west coast stocks in the Southwest Region. Stock Assessments for Alaska region marine mammals are published by the National Marine Mammal Laboratory (NMML) in a separate report"--Preface.
