Description:Repeated measurements of current velocity, conductivity, and temperature at 26 stations during an eight-day period in 3une 1971, plus tide and wind records from one location, provided insight into the physical oceanography of the Airplane Lake, Lake Palourde, and Lake Laurier section of coastal Louisiana west of the Mississippi River delta. Sampling was performed over the diurnal tide cycle with compensation for the fortnightly tidal period.
