Description:Strategic Goals and Objectives: To help the nation understand, manage, and use its coastal resources wisely, the National Sea Grant College Program has Identified four focus areas central to what Sea Grant does. The focus areas are: 1. Healthy Coastal Ecosystems 2. Sustainable Fisheries and Aquaculture 3. Resilient Communities and Economies 4. Environmental Literacy and Workforce Development The National Sea Grant Law Center's research, education, and outreach activities over the next four years will align with the national goals within each of these focus areas in the following ways. The NSGLC's estimated level of effort with respect to each focus area is: Healthy Coastal Ecosystems(25%), Sustainable Fisheries and Aquaculture (25%), Resilient Communities and Economies (40%), and Environmental Literacy and Workforce Development (10%).
