Description:This booklet describes seagrass research that needs to be done on the west coast of North America, and summarizes efforts to connect scientists and resource managers to develop a seagrass management plan. Development pressure in coastal habitats is intense, and ecologically important seagrass systems are too often damaged by resulting coastal modification. Information in this booklet, based on contributions from several seagrass researchers, can help coordinate research projects and preservation of healthy seagrass systems.
