  The purpose of this research report was the identification and description of many basic data sources available for the Los Angeles County region. The basic focus has been on information which is routinely collected and/or published. In this way, the advantages of time series data and comparability can be assisted. The aim of this document, then, is to provide a research resource which can be scanned to provide insight into the kinds of data available, and some of the basic characteristics of the various data sources.
