Description:Our group constructed a three tiered, cascading, recirculating system for use in polyculture. Observation of short-term survivability of Nereis virens, Strongylocentrotus droebachiensis and Ulva lactuca in the system were positive. To optimize survivability and growth rates, further studies on flow rates, organism density, temperature, salinity and water quality are needed.
