Description:Past studies indicate that when waves encounter current, the characteristics of waves undergo changes due to the interactions between the waves and the current. Similarly, the forces exerted on an object immersed in water are also affected by the presence of current. It was noted, however, that the effects of current on waves and hence on fluid forces on objects diminish with increasing wind speed.
