Description:These interpretive abstracts from papers presented at the `Economics of Chesapeake Bay Management' conference held in July, 1985 provide summaries of economic approaches to natural resource management. Topics include measuring the economic benefit of clean-up efforts, the economics of controlling nonpoint pollution, the costs of treating wastes, the economics of managing oysters, and the role of public interests. These brief summations should help managers and others gain a helpful glimpse into what are often highly technical economic analyses.
