Description:"The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) proposes to issue an Incidental Harassment Authorization (IHA) for takes of marine mammals in the wild, pursuant to the Marine Mammal Protection Act of 1972, as amended (MMPA, 16 U.S.C. 1361 et seq.). The authorization would be valid from August 1, 2011 through January 31, 2012, and would authorize the incidental taking, by Level B harassment of small numbers of Pacific harbor seals (Phoca vitulina richardsi), California sea lions (Zalophus californianus), and Eastern Pacific gray whales (Eschrichtius robustus) during pile-driving and renovation operations on the Trinidad Pier in Trinidad, California"--Abstract (p.
