Assessments for 14 of the 20 groundfsh stocks in the New England Fishery Management Council’s (NEFMC) Multispecies Groundfsh Fisheries Management Plan were updated and reviewed during September 9–12, 2019 at the Northeast Fisheries Science Center (NEFSC), Woods Hole, MA. This represents the sixth assessment of the status of groundfsh stocks since 2001.
