Description:This report reviews available economic data for the golden crab (Chaceon fenneri) fishery in the area under the jurisdiction of the South Atlantic Fishery Management Council since the inception of active management. Landings, participation rates, and fishing effort are described and tracked using data from the logbook program as managed by the Southeast Fisheries Science Center. Ex-vessel value and information on participation in other fisheries is provided using data from the trip ticket program as administered by the State of Florida.
