Description:The objectives of this report on recreational fishing in the upper sounds of eastern North Carolina were threefold: (1) to understand the socioeconomic characteristics of marine recreational fishing in the region; (2) to note the social organization and cultural values of participants; and (3) to examine the economic demand for and impact of recreational fishing in eastern North Carolina.
