Description:An oil spill occurs offshore and emergency responders are called to the scene. Their goal is to protect people and natural resources. To do so, they must select the best set of clean-up tools and techniques for the situation at hand. They consider many factors, including but not limited to human and animal welfare, weather and sea conditions, geography, and type of oil.
