    The city of Orange Beach has been an active, local partner in the Community Rating System program. Over the years, Orange Beach has made notable strides in improving local resilience by helping pilot the Coastal Resilience Index and through being an active participant in the newly organized Floodplain Mangers group SAFE-T. In accordance with CRS guidance, the city of Orange Beach undertook a community needs assessment by completing the CRS Activity 240 assessment on April 18, 2019. The following document chronicles and categorizes the many different outreach activities and material the city employs into one, comprehensive document.
