Description:This illustrated publication is a progress report of the activities of the NEMO (Nonpoint Education for Municipal Officials) in Connecticut, by providing educational support for land use decisions. In Connecticut, NEMO is a partnership between the UConn Cooperative Extension System, Connecticut Sea Grant, and the UConn Department of Natural Resources Management and Engineering. The origin, objectives, and progress of the NEMO program and exciting new initiatives are documented. Examples of ways the NEMO program has catalyzed and supported local community leaders in specific towns are given.
