Description:"During the week of August 13, 1972, the Nevada Special Projects Party of the Earth Sciences Laboratories (ESL) conducted a seismic noise investigation for El Paso Natural Gas Company (EPNG). Ambient seismic noise studies were made at 19 locations in Wyoming in the vicinity of the Project Wagon Wheel site. On August 17, at approximately 1800 GMT a 55,000 lb. high explosive (HE) quarry blast detonated at a location 50 mi east of Wagon Wheel was recorded at two of the locations investigated. This memo describes the operation, documents the results, and gives analyses of the records."
