Description:"The proposed action is to provide interim beach maintenance of Ocean City, Maryland, beach. The interim approach consists of constructing a system of short groins along the northernmost 8 miles of Ocean City beach. The proposed action is expected to stabilize the existing beach and thereby maintain the recreation potential and storm protection presently provided by the beach. Some additional protection will be provided by the sand fill as well."--Transmittal letter.
