Description:Water samples at standard depths, bottom sediment, and meteorological data were collected in Lake Huron at established stations in the course of eight cruises during the 1966 open-water season. The sampling program and analytical methods are described. Chemical characteristics of the water and bottom sediment are listed by cruise for each station and sampling depth. Wind and wave data are listed by cruise for each station. The statistical summaries showing lake-wide means, standard deviations, and sample sizes of selected variables are presented by depth for each cruise period.
