Description:An experimental aerial survey of dolphins in a localized area was conducted to Investigate the effects of sea state, sun glare and observer performance upon the estimates of school densities employing line transect theory. Sea state and observer performance effects were not significant but the presence of sun glare adversely affected estimates of density.
