Description:

This report presents a summary of surface and bottom temperature and salinity data collected during the Northeast Fisheries Science Center’s HB1301 Spring Bottom Trawl Survey aboard the NOAA FSV Henry B Bigelow. Data was obtained with two Seabird Electronics SBE Model 19+V2 profiling CTD (s/n’s 7037 & 7143). Sea water samples were taken for the purpose of correcting salinity values for both instruments. No salinity correction was necessary for any instrument.
