Description:This report presents a summary of surface and bottom temperature and salinity data collected during the Northeast Fisheries Science Center’s PC1206 Atlantic Herring Acoustic Survey aboard the NOAA FSV Pisces. Data was obtained with a Seabird Electronics SBE Model 9/11+ profiling CTD (s/n 0912). Sea water samples were taken for the purpose of correcting salinity values. No salinity correction was necessary. This CTD was outfitted with an SBE43 dissolved oxygen sensor and a Wetlabs Wetstar fluorometer. Dissolved oxygen (mg/L) and chlorophyll-a concentration (mg/m3) is included in the data files, but is not presented in this report. Water samples were not taken for calibrating these additional sensors.
