Description:The primary objective of the cruise was to assess changing biological and physical properties which influence the sustainable productivity of the living marine resources of the Mid-Atlantic Bight, Southern New England, Georges Bank and Gulf of Maine portions of the northeast continental shelf ecosystem.
A secondary objective of this cruise was the examination of plankton samples at sea for concentrations of Calanus finmarchicus to correlate with right whale sightings.
