Description:The objective of the cruise was to assess the impact of changing biological and physical properties of the Mid-Atlantic Bight and Southern New England portions of the Northeast Continental Shelf ecosystem which influence the sustainable productivity of the living marine resources. A secondary objective of this cruise was the analysis of phytoplankton samples for nitrogen stable isotope ratios by filtering the discharge water of the flow-through instrumentation at 9 stations.
