Description:This document is a Regulatory Impact Review and Initial Regulatory Flexibility Analysis for two proposed actions to amend halibut and sablefish Individual Fishing Quota (IFQ) regulations. The preferred alternatives would (1) allow the use of longline pot gear in the Bering Sea sablefish IFQ and Community Development Quota fisheries during June; and (2) allow the temporary transfer of IFQ held by mobilized military reservists and guardsmen.
