Description:

The emergency rule would establish additional observer coverage requirements for the 20 catcher/processor vessels listed under section 208(e) (1)-(20) of the American Fisheries Act, Public Law 105-277 (AFA). It would also establish in season authority to manage the non-pollack harvest limitations required under the AFA for the 20 vessels.
