Description:These amendments authorize a vessel incentive program to reduce bycatch rates of prohibited species in the Alaskan groundfish trawl fisheries.
The environmental review process led us to conclude that the action will not have a significant impact on the environment. Therefore, an environmental impact statement was not prepared. A copy of the finding of no significant impact, including the environmental assessment, is enclosed for your information. Also, please send a copy of your comments to me in Room 6222, CS/ES, U.S. Department ' of Commerce, Washington, D.C. 20230.
