Description:We have developed an implemented in the National Weather Service an objective method yielding probabilities of tornadoes, large hail, and damaging surface winds 2-6 hr in advance. The probabilities are for square areas about 90 n.mi. on a side, covering most of the United States east of the Rocky Mountains.
