Description:"The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration National Marine Fisheries Service (NOAA Fisheries) held its 12th National Stock Assessment Workshop (NSAW) from August 13 to 15, 2015, in Portland, Oregon. The workshop took place immediately before the 145th Annual Meeting of the American Fisheries Society (AFS) and was hosted by the Northwest Fisheries Science Center. A total of 88 participants from NOAA Fisheries science centers and headquarters attended the workshop. Participation was also open to NOAA-funded graduate students working on stock assessment topics.
