Description:"This Office Note describes the post processor for the National Center for Environmental Prediction Eta model. Preliminary to this discussion is a brief review of the Eta model emphasizing the model grid and arrangement of variables. A general overview of the post processor design, usage, and capabilities follows. Currently 110 unique fields are available from the post processor. The final section documents these fields and the algorithms used to compute them. Details for using the post processor in conjunction with the model are found in Appendix 1. Appendix 2 lists the various NCEP data sets from which operational Eta model output is available"--Introduction, paragraph 1.
