This collection contains materials produced by NOAA's programs and line offices intended for education and outreach purposes. These documents promote environmental literacy, particularly in relation to marine resource management and marine protected areas, and increase awareness of NOAA's educational mission and community outreach activities. Included are workbooks for students of all ages, lesson plans for teachers of children at various levels, technical documents describing the results of NOAA community outreach efforts, educational materials intended to promote environmental literacy to the general public, and training materials intended for environmental scientists and other professionals.
