Description:"Exploratory stock assessments were completed for four-data-poor stocks in the U.S. South Atlantic during the summer of 2010. A review of the fishery independent MARMAP survey database identified bank sea bass, gray triggerfish, sand perch and tomtate as four unassessed, data-poor stocks with good assessment potential due to significant catches in the survey over time. All of the work in this report should be viewed as preliminary due to the amount of time available for its completion"--Executive summary, paragraph 1.
