Description:"he Pacific Islands Climate Services Forum was held on 21-25 January 2013 at the University of the South Pacific (USP) Laucala Campus in Suva, Fiji. Hosted by the Pacific Climate Information System (PaCIS) through the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and the USP Pacific Centre for Environment and Sustainable Development (PACE-SD), the Forum brought together over 200 participants from the Pacific Islands and the world. The intent of the Pacific Islands Climate Services Forum was to raise the awareness of and engage in a dialogue about climate services, and thereby advance climate services in the Pacific Islands. The Forum was also intended to strengthen and build new relationships between producers and users of climate information to address issues of critical importance to the region"--Executive summary.
