Description:"This report documents the design, implementation, data preparation, and descriptive results for the 2007/ 08 St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands Small Scale Costs and Earnings Study. Based on an in-person and telephone survey of 73 licensed Crucian fishermen, this study provides a socio-economic profile of representative small-scale commercial fisherman. The study provides information on the number of weekly hours worked, vessel and gear values, annual expenditures on fixed costs, and trip-level variable costs for a set of typical St. Croix commercial fishing trips"--Executive summary.
