• Description:
  For the current project segment, New Jersey continued and expanded several research, monitoring and enforcement activities which were initiated during previous fiscal years under the Act, and also initiated new additional jobs resulting from ASMFC FMP developments. During this project segment, Bureau of Marine Fisheries (Bureau) staff participated in the following ASMFC FMP developments: Addendum 2 to the Tautog FMP, Public Information Document and Amendment to the Atlantic Menhaden FMP, implementation of the Horseshoe Crab FMP including many new monitoring requirements, Draft FMP for American Eel and Addendum 1 to Amendment 3 of the American Lobster FMP.
