Description:Remote sensing has advanced significantly with the increasing number of satellites in orbit and those scheduled for launch, alongside emerging proximate sensing platforms that provide data on Earth phenomena in diverse spectrums, spatial resolutions, and temporal intervals. Despite these variations, all these datasets represent the same physical environment. The challenge lies in effectively managing these diverse data sources and extracting the optimal combination of information. Data fusion offers a powerful solution for integrating and utilizing this wide array of remotely sensed data.
