New regulations for the management of Atlantic sturgeon (Acipenser oxyrhynchus oxyrhvnchus) were implemented by the State of New Jersey. A conservation equivalent harvest reduction plan was approved by the Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission (ASMFC) Policy Board in compliance with the A~lantic Sturgeon Fishery Management Plan (FMP). Data was collected through the cooperation of New Jersey's coastal gill net fishermen.
